I realised I hadn’t pulled together any fun fashion pieces for a while, but then I stumbled across this Haider Ackermann jacket. Hello! I’m sure he didn’t design it thinking Wonka, but I took one look, and that’s all I could see.
The jacket: Haider Ackermann. Can you really get away without putting in a purple jacket when being inspired by Wonka? I decided, no, you can’t. But at least this piece makes it edgy and less like you’d be stepping out in a costume.

The clutch: Anya Hindmarch, known as a the Custard Cream gold-tone box clutch, it reminded me of three things- gold ticket, chocolate wrapper and vintage candy box.
Original link came from net-a-porter, but product is no longer available.
The bracelet: Chocolate arrow panel stretch bracelet. The colour looked like light creamy milk chocolate that had melted.

Black heels, pants and top: Keep it plain and simple, letting the jacket and accessories stand out.
